What is Core Web Vitals?
Core Web Vitals are a set of Google metrics measuring real-world page experience: loading speed (LCP), interactivity (INP), and visual stability (CLS).
The thresholds are LCP under 2.5 seconds, INP under 200 milliseconds, and CLS under 0.1. Google uses Core Web Vitals as a confirmed ranking signal as part of page experience.
Common fixes include image compression, lazy loading, CDN use, reducing render-blocking JavaScript, and reserving space for dynamic elements to prevent layout shift.
