///DEFINITION
What is Orphan Page?
An orphan page is a page on a website that has no internal links pointing to it, making it hard for search engines to discover and rank.
Orphan pages are usually discovered only via the sitemap, if at all. Without internal links passing authority to them, they almost never rank for competitive keywords.
Fixing orphan pages means adding contextual internal links from related articles. A regular internal-linking audit catches orphans before they waste content investment.
