Brand Voice

Every brand has a distinct way of communicating. Brand Voice lets you teach Articfly how your brand sounds so that every article it generates feels like it was written by your team. Once configured, the AI automatically applies your tone, vocabulary, and style to all content it produces.

Setting Up Brand Voice

The setup process takes about a minute and requires just a few inputs. Articfly analyzes your existing content to extract the patterns that define your writing style.

Enter your company or website name

This helps Articfly contextualize your brand. Use whatever name your audience knows you by, whether that is your company name, blog name, or personal brand.

Provide 3 to 4 article URLs

Paste URLs to published articles that best represent your writing style. Pick pieces you are proud of and that reflect the tone you want Articfly to replicate. The analyzer reads these pages and identifies patterns in sentence structure, vocabulary, formality level, and overall voice.

Add additional context (optional)

If there is anything the analyzer cannot infer from your articles alone, add it here. For example: specific words or phrases to always use, topics to avoid, the target audience, or any stylistic preferences that are important to your brand.

Submit for analysis

Click the analyze button and wait approximately 30 seconds. The process runs asynchronously, so you can stay on the page and watch the progress indicator, or navigate away and come back later. Your Brand Brief will be ready when you return.

The Brand Brief

Once the analysis completes, Articfly generates a Brand Brief. This is a structured document that captures everything the AI learned about your voice. It typically includes:

  • Tone description — whether your writing is formal, conversational, authoritative, playful, or a mix.
  • Vocabulary patterns — preferred terms, industry jargon you use, and words you tend to avoid.
  • Sentence structure — average length, complexity, and how you balance short punchy sentences with longer explanations.
  • Content style — how you open articles, use headers, handle transitions, and wrap up conclusions.
  • Audience awareness — the level of expertise you write for and how you address your readers.

Note: The Brand Brief is stored securely in your account and is never shared with other users. Only you and the AI models generating your content can access it.

How Brand Voice Applies to Your Content

Once your Brand Brief exists, it is automatically used by two core features:

Article Writer

Every article generated through the Article Writer is shaped by your Brand Brief. The AI uses it to match your tone, preferred vocabulary, and structural habits so that generated articles read as though you wrote them yourself.

Content Calendar

The Content Calendar uses your Brand Brief when generating topic suggestions. This ensures that the topics it proposes align with the themes and angles your brand typically covers, rather than being generic suggestions.

You do not need to do anything extra to activate this. If a Brand Brief exists in your account, it is used automatically. If no Brand Brief has been created yet, features will still work but without personalized voice matching.

Updating Your Brand Voice

Your brand voice may evolve over time as your content strategy matures or your audience changes. You can re-run the Brand Voice analyzer at any point with new example URLs and updated context. The new analysis will replace your existing Brand Brief, and all future content will reflect the updated voice.

Tip: If you publish in multiple niches or tones, choose the articles that best represent your primary voice. The analyzer works best when the sample URLs share a consistent style rather than a mix of very different tones.

There is no limit on how often you can re-analyze. Each run overwrites the previous Brand Brief, so only one active brief exists per account at any time.
