WordPress Plugin

Connect Articfly to your WordPress site for automatic article publishing. Once linked, every article you generate or schedule in the dashboard can be pushed to WordPress with a single click — complete with images, SEO metadata, and proper formatting.

Prerequisites

  • WordPress 5.0 or later — the plugin requires the block editor REST API endpoints introduced in WordPress 5.0.
  • Administrator access — you need to install plugins and access the Articfly settings page in WP Admin.
  • Active Articfly account — sign up at app.articfly.com if you have not already.

Installation

The setup takes about two minutes. Follow these four steps to link your WordPress site to Articfly.

01

Install the Articfly plugin

In your WordPress admin panel, navigate to Plugins → Add New and search for "Articfly". Click Install Now, then Activate. The plugin adds an Articfly menu item to your admin sidebar.

02

Generate a connection key

In the Articfly dashboard, go to Integrations and click "Generate Connection Key". A unique key will appear on screen. This key is valid for 15 minutes.

03

Paste the key in WordPress

Copy the connection key, then switch to your WordPress admin. Go to Articfly → Settings, paste the key into the connection field, and click Connect. WordPress will verify the key with Articfly servers.

04

Confirm the connection

Return to the Articfly dashboard. Within a few seconds the Integrations page will update with a green status card showing your site name and URL. This confirms the connection is active and articles can be published to your site.

What the Plugin Does

Once connected, the Articfly plugin enables the following capabilities on your WordPress site:

Auto-Publish Articles

Generated articles are pushed directly to WordPress as published posts or drafts, depending on your preference. No copy-pasting required.

Schedule Posts

Set a publish date and time in the Articfly dashboard. The plugin creates a scheduled post in WordPress that goes live automatically.

Sync Images

Article images — whether AI-generated or sourced from stock libraries — are uploaded to your WordPress media library and properly embedded in the post.

SEO Metadata

Meta titles, descriptions, and Open Graph tags generated by Articfly are applied to each post, compatible with popular SEO plugins like Yoast and Rank Math.

Troubleshooting

Connection not detected

If the Articfly dashboard does not show a connected status after you paste the key in WordPress, check the following:

  • Make sure your server firewall allows outbound HTTPS requests to api.articfly.com.
  • If your hosting provider uses a WAF or security plugin (e.g., Wordfence), temporarily disable request blocking rules and try again.
  • Try generating a new connection key from the dashboard and repeating step 3.

Key expired

Connection keys expire after 15 minutes for security. If you see an "invalid key" error in WordPress, return to the Integrations page, generate a fresh key, and paste it immediately. The process takes only a few seconds.

Plugin not appearing in search results

If "Articfly" does not appear when searching in Plugins → Add New, make sure your WordPress installation can reach the wordpress.org plugin repository. On some managed hosts, plugin installation is restricted — contact your hosting provider or install the plugin manually by uploading the ZIP file.
